Dear Valued Customer,

It is with heartfelt mixed emotions I announce to you my retirement of The Garden of Beads in Anoka.

A great opportunity presented itself just after the first of the year and I could not look the other way. This opportunity will give me more time to spend with my family, pursue my passions, take care of myself and hopefully give back to the community which has so richly blessed me. I have loved creating this wonderful environment where people have felt welcome, appreciated and accomplished. I will always cherish the friendships and beautiful people that have crossed my path. As I move forward into this next chapter in my life, I will look back and remember what a wonderful ride it has been. I am so much better for it. I hope you will feel this way too.

I would like to commend and thank all Garden employees, past and present, for all they have contributed to make this store successful for these past twelve years. You are only as good as the people you surround yourself with. These people are also my friends and have been key in making The Garden what it is today. Last, but not least, I would like thank all of our customers for your loyal patronage and support.

Because this process will be bittersweet, I have hired Nathan Henry, a long time friend and colleague to manage the liquidation process to make this transition as painless as possible for all. He will be sending out information as to how everything will proceed with the sale of all of our wonderful merchandise, displays, etc. We expect this all will be accomplished within the next three months.

Starting Tuesday March 3rd everything in the store will be 20% off. Coupons will no longer be able to be used, but gift certificates will still be honored. I will not be in the store on a regular basis, but will announce a few scheduled days for those of you who would like to stop in and say hi.

Recently a very dear friend, who I met as a customer, shared one of her favorite quotes with me, "All change is for the better. There is no such thing as change for the worse."

Sincerely and with love,

Lynn Gabriel
